Mera Bharat Dukhi Kyun ? Adil Mohammed. “Dalit Groom Attacked for Riding Horse”

Dear fellow citizens this may come as a surprise to some and a caution to many. What makes me think as a responsible citizen who loves this nation to take up task of showing the mirror of our nation with all its colors each day. Like most of us today in which ever mind space we represent and  belong we all are concerned about how this nation is being treated and manipulated and abused day in and day out and honored at times.

I feel we have infinite issues unfolding we need to put them to litmus test in light of who we are what we represent and what was our goal and where have we led our selves. Are we on path to pride or on path to disgrace is the question.  My effort is to put things in direction to make the pride bigger and strive to work to try erase disgrace and counter challenge it brings very idea of India. We all believed India that we got was not on a platter of flowers but on thorn spread served with pains sacrifices losses and compromises.

While my head raises with pride when I think of our elders who fought and gave us our space of liberty of thoughts, actions and a perfect space that ensured by our constitution equality, justice and opportunity as equals. Where are we leading today is my question ?. It’s  our responsibility as citizens of this great nation to which some call it Hindustan some call it India but our Constitution calls is Bharat.

24th May 2016  Daily Dairy Adil Mohammed “Save India” Today is not a first day when an incident like the one nation witnessed on full glare of national television. It is common in Cow belt in north India a Dalit community and SC  ST’s face serious discrimination and are treated simple as un equals. The laws are made by the upper caste for the Dalits. How a lives, where he lives, where he works which well he drinks water from. Though he is Hindu he is kept out of learning scriptures and ringing bells in temples to invoke God’s and Goddesses for a better life. Does the upper caste Hindu when I say upper caste I am not out to blame whole of Upper caste but, I can not close my eyes to the upper caste who  abuse articles  of Indian constitution and human dignity.

20160523267001A report today is circling in media  of shameful incident of atrocity on Dalit in Kurukshetra, : Giving evidences of high prevalence of caste system in Haryana, a Dalit groom in Haryana’s Kurukshetra district was allegedly stopped by an upper caste mob from riding on a horse on his wedding day. The mob not only stopped the groom from riding a horse-drawn carriage during his marriage procession but also pelted stones at police. They were against the idea of the groom visiting a temple frequented by upper caste people on horseback and wanted him to walk to the Ravidas temple in the village. The head of the village, Rajinder Singh, said some “misguided youths created the situation” but it was brought under control with the help of police.

These are not isolated  cases a report and a well sketched statistics in a Indian Express article in the wake of atrocity on Dalit scholar of HCU in Hyderabad shows how the police is ineffective and justice to the Dalits and SC ST’s in this nation is deprived and made to suffer. incidents http://indianexpress.com/article/opinion/columns/rohith-vemula-discrimination-against-dalits-still-left-out/

The number of registered cases of anti-Dalit atrocities, notoriously under-reported, jumped by 17.1 per cent in 2013 (compared to 2012) according to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). The increase was even more dramatic between 2013 and 2014 — 19.4 per cent. The word “atrocities” needs to be fleshed out here, otherwise it will become another bureaucratic, abstract euphemism.

The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (the PoA act), gives a list of “offences and atrocities”. – See more at: http://indianexpress.com/article/opinion/columns/rohith-vemula-discrimination-against-dalits-still-left-out/#sthash.AtSjscaF.dpuf

Stand for justice to all and do not take things lightly. Empower the poor and the disadvantaged and discrimination is curse to our nation all the good talk the Govt of this time and the governments that are guilty in past need to be exposed.

The politics is very bad we all know politics has messed up the nation but we have become tools in their hands  if politicians had political games riding high pardon me as I feel we were riding high in strengthening their games as we some were are guilty and are if not equal we are also responsibility for the mess that we created for our nation Bharat. Save it rise up and question and defend all that is right and stand against all that leads to abuse and lessening of indian pride. Jai Hind. Jai Bharat.
