“Ours heads go down in grief on Dadri killing. Options victims have and how a nation failed” Adil Mohammed

dadrii I feel so help less and week, my nation has failed to save an innocent elderly person in front of aging wife son and daughters and the killers in hundreds not resisted by the authorities, police or even neighbors and resident of Dadri 50 kms from national capital of my country of which I am proud of.

My heart sheds tons of tears but my face is shell-shocked at the inhuman twist my nation is taking. This is not an isolated incident it is a breeding practice by hate mongers from fringe religious and political outfits who are shamelessly defending the killers and accusing the innocent 50 plus years victim.

The police comes to console only after the death and massacre in broad day light. But fails to stop the community of the victim from fleeing their homes that they lived from centuries. What option do these help less section of society have when the majority of the society is feared to form the fringe devilish tone. Question that have bigger have no answers.

Horrific hard dark values breeds among a fringe section of the youth belonging to this hardliner religious out fit and political party. The leader of this party stops no barriers claiming to blinded by the values of non violence and truth and peace while in borders beyond but right in the shadow of his writing on wall non violence is what we as nation stand comes this ghastly act of heinous un thinkable cowardly act by a mob of over 250 odd lynching to death the father and thrashing a teen of 20 near to death.

Govt in Center and in States seems to be seeing this act of the dark valued youth as a great act like service to faith and nation. They get their darkness from the filthy politics of this countries political opportunists.

Justice need to arrive to this family, has it arrived to any such incidents on this section of the community in the past be it Gujarat, Hyderabad, Malegaon, Ajmer, Rajastan, UP or Haryana for that matter. It has sadly not.

Will the youth fighting for live or the community of the elderly victim of Dadri killing ever be able to forgive the murderous fringe youth from a section of the society that claims to have taken a revenge for un founded accusation on just a rumor be able to pardon. No one can say they can, no one should forget too. But how will they go ahead in life’s.

The only hope in dark night of pain and agony for all right thinking Indians who share this pain, is unity among the right thinking people of the nation.

When we here such ghastly incident and feel help less it reminds us of reasons the Sikh Community is imbibed in their faith to keep armed for self-defense with Kirpan.

Like in US the citizens do not need a licence to carry an arm for self defense. Will it mean when the Govt is indifferent to a section of the community and the police is no more than a spend force mentally and physically just puppets in to the hands of the political gamesters.

Should the the citizens demand to have right to arm them self not be be offense but to protect them selves in eventuality like Dadri and A tali and what happens in various places in the nation not just on one community but on many such for reasons known to the killers.

“If I were a dictator, religion and state would be separate. I swear by my religion. I will die for it. But it is my personal affair. The state has nothing to do with it. The state would look after your secular welfare, health, communications, foreign relations, currency and so on, but not your or my religion. That is everybody’s personal concern!” Mahatma Gandhi

But unfortunate today India is far from what Gandhi wanted it to be. It is drive by religious hate mongers and who are in politics on the skeletons that acted as ladders to raise them to the seats of power in politics. Sorry India but I am sure if Babu was alive he would have wept ocean and pained like i do and most of do. On seeing incident like Dadri.

“I can retain neither respect nor affection for government which has been moving from wrong to wrong in order to defend its immorality”
― Mahatma Gandhi

But today Mahatama Gandhi is not their to correct or to question the government, If he was with us Babu would have said this again and again. Today we need many Gandhis to take forward views of Gandhi on non violence. Love should prevail and peace and security should be order of the day.

My heads bows down in shame as an Indian. I am sure this is the feeling of each Indian who wishes to see India that they can be proud of we do not need oratory filled with hype and tall claims we need a soft heat that can feel the pains and bounce to help the innocent and provide them a free India free of hate and persecution.

I appeal to all 1.23 billion Indian let the religions guide you to compassion and unity and cultural strength not hate and violent divide.
