Yogendra Yadav, along with Prashant Bhushan, was on Friday addressing reporters in New Delhi.

Yadav said that ”AAP is a party unlike any other in the nation. A lot has happened in the past weeks”.

“AAP is the only party where questions of transparency and internal democracy are at least being discussed”, Yogendra Yadav said.

Here are the highlights of Yogendra Yadav’s speech:

*The question is if AAP will become just like any other party in the nation, or become like BSP or a regional party?

*Conditional resignation and an actual resignation are two different things

*We also said that volunteers of the party need to be given a voice, and transparency should be brought in

*We raised the issue that accusations going in the party regarding liquor confiscation, etc, need to be investigated

*Issue of who will be party’s national convener is not something that has been raised at all

*AAP’s Constitution was taken off the party website but we have kept a copy of it

“If party accepts our demands, we are ready to resign,” Prashant Bhushan added.
